💰 Banking, Finance & Economy

• भारत की Sovereign Credit Rating बढ़ी — Japan Credit Rating Agency (JCR) ने भारत की Long-Term Foreign Currency और Local Currency Issuer Rating को BBB+ से बढ़ाकर A- कर दिया। Outlook Stable रखा गया। JCR ने भारत की मजबूत economic growth, बेहतर fiscal quality, मजबूत financial system और robust external position को upgrade का आधार बताया।
• GIFT IFSC में विदेशी मुद्रा जुटाने में बड़ी उपलब्धि — GIFT International Financial Services Centre ने RBI की FCNR(B) Swap Facility के तहत $52.8 billion से अधिक mobilise किया। इसके अलावा IFSC exchanges पर banks द्वारा $11.62 billion ECBs और $11.12 billion bond listings दर्ज की गईं।
• Financial Inclusion Index में सुधार — RBI के Financial Inclusion Index (FI-Index) का स्तर 2026 में 67 तक पहुंच गया, जो financial access, usage और quality में सुधार को दर्शाता है।
• IIP Growth 6.7% — जुलाई 2026 में भारत का Index of Industrial Production (IIP) growth 6.7% रहा, जबकि जून 2026 में यह 8.8% था। Manufacturing में 7.3%, Electricity में 8.3% और Mining में -0.9% growth दर्ज की गई। Capital Goods sector ने 16.1% growth दर्ज की।

🇮🇳 National Affairs

• PM ने National Departmental Summit on Water का समापन किया — प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 2 सितंबर को National Departmental Summit on Water के valedictory session की अध्यक्षता की। उन्होंने Jal Utsav, water-saving technologies, AI आधारित water-data governance और राज्यों के बीच बेहतर cooperation पर जोर दिया।
• भारत का पहला End-to-End Optical Network Test Bed — Department of Telecommunications ने C-DOT के साथ 5-year agreement के तहत state-of-the-art End-to-End Optical Network Test Bed स्थापित करने की पहल की। इसमें optical core, optical access और quantum security technologies शामिल होंगी।
• Data Centre Ecosystem में $200 Billion Investment Potential — केंद्रीय वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री Piyush Goyal ने New Delhi में Data Centre industry के CEO Roundtable की अध्यक्षता की। उन्होंने भारत में data-centre sector में लगभग US$200 billion investment potential पर जोर दिया।
• भारत में 60% Recycled Asphalt Pavement Technology का प्रदर्शन — CSIR-CRRI, OSEPL और Ooms India ने NH-716 पर 60% Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) वाली road technology का demonstration किया। इसका उद्देश्य road construction में recycled materials का उपयोग बढ़ाना है।

• INS Sudarshini ने Barcelona में प्रवेश किया — भारतीय नौसेना का sailing training ship INS Sudarshini, LOKAYAN 2026 के तहत Barcelona पहुंचा। यह deployment maritime diplomacy, training और international cooperation को बढ़ावा देने से जुड़ा है।
• Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards 2024 — Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports ने Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards 2024 के लिए चार awardees की घोषणा की। पुरस्कार land adventure, water adventure और lifetime contribution जैसी categories में दिए जाते हैं।

🌱 Environment & Ecology

• Tiger Landscapes पर International Workshop — New Delhi में International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA), Asian Development Bank (ADB) और National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) द्वारा दो दिवसीय international workshop शुरू किया गया। Theme थी “Tiger Landscapes: Conservation, Bioeconomy and Ecotourism as Pillars for Livelihood and Income Generation”।
• 216 Indian Star Tortoises को जंगल में छोड़ा गया — महाराष्ट्र के Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve में rescue किए गए 216 Indian Star Tortoises (Geochelone elegans) को उनके प्राकृतिक habitat में release किया गया।
• Dehing Patkai National Park में Butterfly Diversity — Assam के Dehing Patkai National Park में 2026 biodiversity survey के दौरान 165 butterfly species, जिनमें 37 endangered species शामिल हैं, दर्ज की गईं।

🌾 Agriculture & Export

• भारत के Rice Exports में वृद्धि — नवंबर 2025 से मार्च 2026 के दौरान भारत के rice exports ने 26 priority markets में ₹23,476 करोड़ और 4.79 million tonnes का आंकड़ा दर्ज किया। Export value तीन-वर्षीय औसत से 1.1% और volume 5.6% अधिक रहा।
• Coconut Exports में 62% वृद्धि — FY2025-26 में भारत के coconut exports में 62% की वृद्धि हुई और export value ₹7,038.25 करोड़ पहुंच गई। भारत के coconut products को 155 देशों में export किया गया।

🏛️ State Affairs

• Himachal Pradesh का पहला Ozone-Based Water Treatment Project — हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार Dehra, Kangra district में राज्य का पहला ozone-based drinking water treatment project स्थापित कर रही है। इसके लिए ₹46 करोड़ आवंटित किए गए हैं।
• Bihar–Jharkhand Sone River Water Agreement — बिहार और झारखंड ने Sone River water sharing को लेकर MoU किया, जिससे लगभग 25 वर्ष पुराने inter-state water dispute के समाधान की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम हुआ। इसका लाभ दोनों राज्यों में irrigation और drinking water availability को मिलेगा।

• Ramon Magsaysay Award 2026 — 2026 के Ramon Magsaysay Award के तीन laureates घोषित किए गए: Tommy Koh (Singapore), Runa Khan (Bangladesh) और Bo Kyi (Myanmar)। इसे अक्सर “Nobel Prize of Asia” कहा जाता है।
