6. Mr. Parameswaran Iyer on 12 July 2022 taken charge as the new Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog. A 1981-batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Mr. Iyer has worked with both the public and private sectors. He was Secretary in the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation in New Delhi from 2016 to 2020.
